Mathis Starts at School of the Woods

Mathis started at School of the Woods this week and is doing great. I really give Truitt so much credit for helping him in the classroom and generally keeping an eye on him. Above all things, he is an excellent big brother. Mathis is doing well. He cried at nap time the 1st day but hasn't since. He hasn't had potty accidents and is eating most of his lunch. I, on the other hand, am having a bit of a hard time. When Tru started school I was ready because I felt he was really ready. With Mathis, well, he is the baby and I am having a hard time realizing this is the last time we will experience this milestone.

First Day of Kindergarten

Unbelievable. 

While Truitt is still in the same class with the same teachers he's been in for the last two years, the word is a little hard to choke down: kindergarten. He had a great first day and is looking forward to next week when his brother joins him.
