I finally just uploaded the pictures from the 4th. We went to Corpus this year and had a really great time, so much so that we think we might ditch Houston every year!
Of course, it's hot as hot can be in Corpus as well so we're glad they also have a mall with a play area. The La Palmera mall is newly renovated and has a great ocean-themed area with lots of stuff to climb on and crawl through. It was one of our 1st outings of the weekend.
Getting these boys to look at the camera is next to impossible, but at least Nana can smile on cue :)
Truitt riding a sting ray
As usual, Mathis had that finger out, pointing at everything. There are jellyfish and dolphins hanging from the ceiling and he was very curious about them.
Of course, Mathis is his mother's son and, while the play area was interesting, there was something else near by that kept attracting his attention...
In addition to the play area, we toodled around the mall quite a bit. I didn't take many pictures of that for the obvious reasons but I did have an opportunity to get one more sweet photo of the boys. This time, they did manage to look at the camera. All blue eyes and pouty lips. Such sweet boys!
