Today was Daddy's 39th Birthday and he selected walking to neighborhood favorite Zelko Bistro for dinner with the boys. It was breezy and still a little hot but decent enough to sit outside in the shade. This was also perfect because we avoided bring these two mischievous children of ours inside the nice restaurant. Mischievous, you ask? No, you think. Not these two angel faces, right? Hmmm hmmmm... See below.
Mathis crawls up on chair. Mathis looks at Mommy and Daddy to gauge our reaction.
Mathis naughtily stands up. We tell Mathis to sit on his bottom. Mathis waves.
Well then there is the older boy. Nothing this cute can behave.
So, they are a little devilish. But really, they are sweet and earned a little sweet treat of their own. Vanilla ice cream with berries. Mathis climbed up in to Tru's chair and they shared. Tru even fed Mathis a couple big bites to be sure that he had some berries. Now that is truly sweet.
Besides being an awesome brother, Truitt is just all around big boy. I asked him if he could take a picture of Mommy and Daddy and he did. The second one here I obviously cropped and changed the color, but I think it's a pretty damn good picture for a 3 year old.
