Mathis at 7 Months

There is no doctor appointment at 7 months (and Mathis is closer to 8 months at this point...) but I thought I would at least do the photos so we can see how he is growing. He did have an appointment for a hard-to-kick ear infection last week and he weighs just over 20 lbs, so still growing and doing very well. The ear infections have been a bugger but I think we got them this last time.

Still no teeth, although signs of teething are everywhere- the chewing, the drooling and the night waking. Sleep... Don't even get me started! We are working on it but it still challenges us every day and every night.

Eating is going really well. He likes pretty much everything I put in his mouth. He is 2 meals a day right now with an occasional teething biscuit or MumMum thrown in. After New Years we will start introducing yogurt as a 3rd meal and play around with some finger foods like baby puffs and cubed avocado. Pics of that should be good ;)

And once again, Mathis threw fits when I laid him down (and the picture was taken at 7 mos, 2 days. Not recently). The shoe is basically to keep him laying there. This is how much he enjoyed his photo shoot. Stinker!

A while back we also caught him pulling up in his crib and he is starting to crawl. I have crib pics but no crawling ones yet. After Christmas.... He is just getting so big, so fast. It's amazing.

Truitt is home sick right now. School called me Monday to come get him. He had a 102 fever that has stuck around. It's paired with a nasty sounding cough and I worry that he might have bronchitis again. No appetite, poor kid. We have a doctor appointment today and I hope we can some antibiotics and be done with the sickness. Depending on what they say, we might have to get Mathis checked out as well since a cough has turned up today too. Ugh. Could it happen at a worse time of year? Stay tuned...
