Live To Eat

I am one of those people. I do not eat to live; I live to eat. I love food. Making food, smelling food, buying food, eating food. So, when the lovelies on the Nest decided to start having Foodie Get Togethers (aka Foodie GTGs), I was quick to sign up! I had to miss the 1st one, but I offered to host the second. That was a sure-fire way to guaranty I'd be there!

It was sooo much fun. I saw so many people that I don't see often enough. Some I haven't seen in years, but of course we keep in touch on the message board so it's not like any time has lapsed at all. It was also great to meet a few new people.

Ray generously stuck around to let me play hostess and act as daycare provider. He kept a gaggle of toddlers safe and entertained all afternoon. It was pretty damn cute! After we gorged on all the food, we put the kids in their water wear and headed out to the yard. Fun for them and fun for us. Even the non-parents got a kick out of the baby show.

Because not everyone wants their name plastered across the internet, I will not be captioning to the extent I usually do. Basically, here is almost everyone (I think it's pretty much everyone. Apologies to the couple of you I know I missed... Don't worry, there are pics of your kids instead)

Pool time! This wonderful, inflatable pool is no longer with us but we certainly got every penny out of it...
