Geesh, we've been busy!!

Things have been a little nutty and the blog has fallen (only slightly) to the wayside. My apologies to all of Turtle's loyal fans. I pretty much log in to the site daily, but the thought of uploading all those pics and then having to be witty (or at least grammatically correct) tires me out before I do anything.

The good news that I have been occupying my time with the great purge. I can't wait to post the before and after pics of all my hard work. We had a tremendous yard sale which yielded over $400 and a lot of free storage space. I have also been a Freecycling fool. Here are just some of the random things I was able to give second life to via Freecycle: empty prescription bottles, more than a dozen shoe boxes, 25 shopping bags, vinyl suit bags, broken pepper mills, an open bag of Ghirardelli chocolates, and carpet samples. Who knows what people do with this stuff, but I feel better feeding their strange fetishes than filling a landfill...

So, because I know you don't come here to read my jibber jabber, here is all the cute you can handle til the weekend (which will be the next time I post):

Playing with the bouquet of balloons Sue gave him for the 4th

Super cute shots with Daddy and Grandma on the 4th of July. Do you believe that blond hair?

Like most toddlers, Turtle loves dogs. Luckily, Kailey still allows herself to be loved at 12 years old. I love these pics b/c it's all about going in for the open mouth kiss and... wait for it... wait for it... CONTACT! I swear he was kissing her, but it does look like he was chewing on her. The silly part about that is Ray and I have always called Kailey "the sausage" because she is a fat little thing, like a sausage: a lot of meat packed in to a tight skin.

Sweet!!!
