Hope

I am so thankful to our country for voting for something positive. Yes, I understand the importance of the 1st black president. Yes, I am happy to see barriers broken. However, I find I am just happiest that we made a decision that was based on hope rather fear. Overwhelmingly we selected the right person for the job. I see so many bright things in our future, but it's going to be a long road. Look at the mess we have been left. Look at the crises we are in. How do you overcome so much? Only with a positive attitude and desire to bring people together. We have been so divided for so long and all it has accomplished is that we proved a house divided cannot stand. So now we, as a country, as a people, as a culture, as leaders in a shrinking world, are standing. Together.
