Peace

I just wanted to take a brief moment and let you know that my Grandmother passed away Sunday. Our whole family was with her and everyone was able to say goodbye and wish her the peace she deserves. She has found that peace and while we miss her dearly, there is so much solice in the fact that she is no longer suffering.
Tomorrow will be the internment of her ashes with immediate family only. On Saturday we will have an open house so that everyone who loved her can mourn together. However, the wonderful legacy of Noni's life will be that we will mourn with laughter and stories and memories of all the fun and good times. Despite our heavy hearts, we have had a lot of laughs over this week and this, above anything, would make her so happy.
Thanks again for all the kind words and well wishes. I can't express how much it means to our family.
In Turtle related news, we have a very sick boy on our hands. We went to the small town ER yesterday and he was diagnosed with acute bronchitis. He is not himself at all and Ray and I are soooo very worried. We look forward to returning to Houston and seeing our doctor, but until we get there we will certainly continue to administer the three (!!!) perscriptions given by the ER doctor here...
