Dada affixing the soccer goal, just one of several 'accessories.' Others include a working doorbell, cordless telephone, basketball hoop, gas pump and mini kitchen sink, stove and fridge.
The waiting. Oh, the waiting! The anticipation!
A snack will help pass the time...
After about 1.5 hours, the accessories were all affixed and the sides were together. Truitt could not wait to get in and check it out. He loves the working doors and his favorite 'side' is probably the workshop. You can see the peg board where the hammer and screwdriver hang. He loves tools almost as much as he loves trucks and trains. Despite the fact that 2 sides open to create an entire town center, Tru prefers they remain closed and likes to hide out. He thought it was great at this point and was even a little upset about the roof going on... Until he realized the roof really did complete the look.
The finishing touches:
If we had any questions as to whether or not Truitt was going to like this house and actually use it, they were quickly answered. He got in and danced for a few minutes, which was hysterical. Then he also put his fingers to his cheeks, smiled and proclaimed "HAPPY!!" Where he got this little pantomime is still a mystery to us...

Okay... that's just too adorable. From him sitting in the chair with his feet up like he had nothing better to do... to the "I'm cute" and happy stance.
too much fun!
V~
I bet he gets that pantomime from school....Kendall did the same thing as a "movement" to the song "If you're Happy and You Know it"...there's a lyric that goes ..."and your face will surely show it"....and that's when she would do that same motion.
Would make sense!
