Babies and Bubbles, aka Friday Playgroup

Every Friday, Turtle and I head out to meet some friends for a little champagne and a little play time. This Friday was no different. Hosted by Sarah and Alexander, the weather was in our favor for some outside adventures.

Kelcey with Keller & Kellen; Landon, Truitt and Vincent get ready to play; Heather, Ginnie and Kellen.

Truitt says "I already told you enough with the camera"; Stacy and Landon; our hostess for the day, Sarah

Alexander having a drink (hope there are no bubbs in the sippy); Truitt tries to orchestrate an escape MacGuyver style- a broom, a rock and a chewed up Sun Chip; Kennedy and Kellen discuss who exactly will get to ride in the car

Kennedy says "Hi"; Robert Duval...ooops... I mean Keller; Kennedy and Landon get to know eachother better in the bubble car

There was a time when the babies would hang out on the floor while the mommies would imbibe and enjoy adult conversation. We still imbibe, but the flow of conversation has changed. Rather than chatting at length about any subject, conversation is now limited to whatever sound bites we can get it between "Don't climb on the table" "Let someone else have a turn" and "Spit that rock/stick/napkin/grass/previously-chewed carrot out!"

In the end, Friday playgroup still serves its primary purpose: To drink and see that someone else is going through the same crap as you. Cheers!
