WE ARE TEAM BLUE!!
I am outnumbered with no hope of ever catching up...
but that is fine with me. I love being the mama of a crazy little boy. Having two will just be twice the fun. I am so excited for Turtle to have a brother and for them to be able to do boy things together.
One nice thing about the ultrasound telling you it's a boy is that chances are very slim that they are mistaken. With a girl, you only have a 75% chance of actually having a girl after the u/s. After all, things could be hiding. With a clear boy shot, you have a much higher degree of certainty!
Case in point:
Here are a couple of other cute pics of Twosey posing for the camera. I think the 1st one is so cute, like he is looking right at us. It even looks like he has a little smile :)
And here is what we all really want in the end- 10 fingers and 10 toes and a healthy baby:
I have been pretty nervous and anxious leading up to this ultrasound. I have not been feeling a lot of movement and just wanted to make sure everything is ok. Today I found out that part of the reason I haven't been feeling much (altho I do feel a little here and there) is that I have an anterior placenta (if you want to know what that means, click HERE . It's no big deal except that there is a small chance that the placenta could attach itself to the c-section scar from Turtle. If that happens, and there is only a 1-2% chance, I would have to have a hysterectomy when Twosey is born. Sure, we want more kids, but if we have two happy, healthy boys how can we complain? Other than that little potential hiccup, everything looks great.
As far as moving, the anterior placenta can pad the baby and make it harder to feel the kicks/movement. There was no doubt today that this guy can move with the best of them. In fact, the ultrasound technician had some trouble getting a couple of the shots she needed b/c he was so busy! This may sound odd, but it's a huge relief to see him moving all over and still not feel a thing...
How busy, you may ask? This busy:
