In an effort to keep Truitt's life as normal as possible (and therefore cut back on potential tantrums due to the new addition), I decided to go ahead and host our Friday Playgroup last week. My mom was here and I had most of the stuff on hand from a trip to Costco earlier in the week. Some friends who we haven't seen in what-seems-like-forever were able to make it but several of Truitt's usual compandres were not available. This made for the first and perhaps last playgroup where Truitt was the sole possesor of all the testosterone. Generally, our group of friends in the neighborhood is very boy heavy. It was almost startling to look around and see all these girls!

It was a lot of fun having all the girls over and it was really nice to be social. I hate the sequester period after having a new baby and generally do not abide by it. I think the socialization has served us all well :)
