Truitt and Mathis both had doctor appointments today. It was good news all around!

Mathis:

Is up to 9 pounds! Way to go! I guess nursing every 30 minutes has paid off. Ha!

That makes him: 75% for height and weight and 50% for head. His circ is healed up nicely and his umbilical cord is to falling off. We are going to work a little more on spreading out his feedings and also getting his nights and days in order. Generally, though, everything is great. Mathis will have another appointment in 2 weeks and I am excited for his progress.

Truitt:

Big brother has gained some weight as well! We were concerned b/c he had dipped down in to the 20s% for weight at his last check up but he is back in the 50% now and has stayed in the 75% for height as well.

Dr Shuman is thrilled about his language and other development. He had his last 2 shots and is all caught up on his vax (other than chicken pox, which we are holding off on for a couple more years until school demands it). Like baby brother, Turtlepants had a great check up all around and doesn't go back until he turns 3.
