Sweetness

So, we had our 1st real "jealousy" incident on Wed. It wasn't bad. Truitt didn't try to throw Mathis out the window or anything. It was nap time and at home Truitt must be cuddled to sleep (as opposed to school, where he lays on a mat- no paci, no cuddle, and goes to sleep like a champ. I dunno...).

So, I got him in his room and was holding Mathis and said "Let's take a nap." He was getting in to bed and then he noticed Mathis and said "Mathis goes to his bed." I said "No, Truitt. He's got to come with us and we'll all nap together.' He got upset and basically told me no Mathis is his bed, it was his bad and Mathis could go to his own bed.

Truitt has been such a good boy about the baby that I didn't want to fight this point with him. I suggested we all go to Mama's bed and take a nap together. He was fine with that. So, even though his room has the nice black out curtains and I was looking forward to napping in there, off we went to my room, climbed in to bed and napped. The boys fell asleep and I snuck away to get my camera.

So sweet. Scenes like this really melt my heart and make me so glad that we have 2 boys close in age. I can't help but gaze in to my crystal ball and see lots of playtime and lots of naptime in our future. Life is really wonderful. I am totally, thoroughly, completely exhausted. But life if really wonderful.
