Pint Sized Picasso

Several months ago I bought some bathtub crayons for Truitt. I was hesitant to give them to him, thinking he wouldn't enjoy them the way I wanted him too (by drawing with them) and then I would be disappointed AND have a mess on my hands. I finally coallessed on a night when Dada wasn't home in time to help with the bath and bedtime routine. Glad I did. He really enjoyed them and was entertained for a much longer period of time with them in the tub than he ever is with crayons or markers on dry land.

Of course, what Crayola doesn't tell you is that the crayons will stain your grout. Because our tub is old and the glaze is worn, it also stained the tub. yes, it eventually came off with some elbow grease (and not my elbow grease) but it wasn't as simple as the package would make it seem. Typical.

Still, totally worth while even if it never came off. He loves them and it is really cute to hear him tell what he has drawn. I love to see those creative wheels turning!

We had this same issue with them... Definitely takes some elbow grease to get the stain off!
He looks like he's enjoying himself though... :)
