Play-o-rama

One of the things that Truitt and I always did was attend playgroups. Both of us made great friends during his playgroup days. Mathis is on par to have some wonderful friends as well. Playgroup 8 is in full swing and Mathis and Mama attend as often as we can. It's deja vu, watching all the little ones growing so fast and hitting those early milestones one after the other.
Last week, Jen and Samantha hosted at their gorgeous bungalow in Montrose. In a weird twist of "small world" insanity, they live across the street from the little gray house that Ray and I lived in for 5 years before moving to the Heights. I even remember when they moved it. I think we were just so busy back then we didn't get as close to our neighbors as we have recently. Funny though. I guess fate meant for us to meet eventually since Jen and Jack, their older son, were in our family swim class last summer and Sam is Mathis' playgroup peer. Funny how the world works...

Mathis says "Sure, I'll lay here so you can take a picture. But HEY, no leaving me down here while you socialize, Mama!"

Our hostess, Samantha
