Playtime, Grant-ed

Truitt had some fun with Grant this weekend, who is only 8 mos old but almost as tall as Turtle-man himself! It was so good to see Grant and his parents, who we miss very much. I hate it when life gets too busy to keep up with even your closest friends!

Before the Wescott clan arrived, Truitt was relaxing and having a snack. He loooves this folding chair- a gift from Sue, who works with Ray. Sorry, Uncle Eddie, but he currently prefers this chair to his rocking chair. I do think it might be because the blue one is easier to throw.

Truitt surveys the new baby; a friendly gesture; at prompts of "be nice to Grant"

hospitality means putting your guests in a laundry basket; looking out the window; Grant gets a snug from Ray

Ben corrals the boys at Berryhill; Grant gets a lift from his Daddy

After lunch, we headed down to check out Ben and Merritt's new digs. Pretty sweet!! The location is amazing and, even though it's undergoing a big reno, the house itself is a stunner. While the house may not be ready to occupy, the pool was definitely prime for swimming and we spent a good hour making the most of the cool water. I can't wait to see the house when it's done. It gave me some house envy, but as long as it's not THIS HOUSE , which I am truly, madly in love with, I think I'll get over it.
