Sheer Mayhem... Starts with Chocolate Chips

Yes. Yes. The Pebble Beach pix are still coming. We took so many, I am having to find the time to go through all of them and deem which ones are worthy of blog space. Patience, Grasshoppers.

For now, here is some fresh Turtle footage. We were hosting another Friday playgroup, but this time we had to keep it inside. It was about 99 degrees outside and even the water table couldn't tempt us to the yard...
I was trying to get everything ready and the only way I could keep the baby out of said everything was to let him nibble on a Triple C (aka choc chip cookie). You can see the glee, the giddiness. He was so excited, he could barely leave the corner of the kitchen. The farthest he made it was to the step stool.

Is that chocolate-induced delirium on your face?

As you look at these pics, be sure to examine the floor and make note of the chaos. It gets harder and harder to contain these kids as they get older. This time next year... shudder to think!! I did realize that next playgroup will involve one small basket of cups, spoons and spatulas. That's really all the need (and Mommy's car keys) to be happy...

Vincent say "hi" to Elizabeth and Isabella; unpacking the toy basket; Keller takes a seat; Vincent wants a push

Sarah is smiling b/c it's not her house; Kennedy having some couch fun; cookies!!; Truitt surveys the mess

Elliott finds a balloon; the party moves to Truitt's room; Keller finds the garbage bag stash; what a mess!!
Mini-update on Noni: She and Ray spent about 4 hours at MDA last night. She got some IV fluids and a little sugar. It really helped. The oncologist feels pretty certain that the swallowing issue is not cancer related, although she is concerned it might be this chemo pill. No decision is going to be made until we see the GI specialist next week. We are all anxious to get past this hurdle and I will definitely update when I have new info on this topic. XOXO
