Our lunch get together took up the whol early part of the day, so immediately from there we headed home for Truitt's nap. He has been a very reliable napper- 12:30 - 2:00. This is perfect because it is also his nap schedule at school. I am glad to have that consistency everyday. I think it makes it easier on him...
Anyhoo, he napped for quite a while that day, exhausted from all the bells and whistes of Fuddrucker's. When he got up, he had a little silly time with Daddy.
After all that hysterical nonsense, we took Cookie out to burn off some energy. Sometimes I hate having just a long driveway for a yard, but it works for toddler ride on toys, sidewalk chalk and dog-ball chasing. Oh, and bubble blowing.
Their special Green Chile Menu. We got the tostadas to start. Muy bueno! We sat in the Elvis room...
Since we were in the area and had the time, we made a quick trip by Whole Foods. Truitt enjoys the supermarket, which is good because it seems like I take him 3x a week. We got some small stuff to reload for the beginning of the week and headed home.
By the time we got home, it was bath and books and bed. That was it. Our Saturday had once again disappeared... We were lucky that this was a long weekend because it all seemed to go by so fast. Now it's already Friday again and we are headed to San Antonio this weekend. That will make this weekend another flash in the pan and before you know it, it will be January 29 and Truitt will be 2 years old. I can hardly believe it.
