So, after talking and talking and talking about it, we finally got our act together and sent Cookie off for some training. She has been gone 2 days and I actually miss her. Hard to believe since she is such a pain some... ok most... of the time. We knew it was going to be a challenge adopting a deaf dog, but she is plum loco besides. She does this crazy canter around the house and yelps at the floor. It's so weird. Luckily for her, she is super cute!
I will say, she is also amazing with the Turtle. Realistically, we know that is the most important thing. She loves him and he loves her right back. That's why we know she's a keeper. Hopefully this training camp will do the trick and she will come home our own Best In Show.
