So, last night we did not end up having a meal with the Youngers. Gram got a phone call from MD Anderson saying they found a blood clot on her lung while reviewing her films and that she needed to go to the ER straight away. She is fine and they gave her some blood thinners. She still has a pretty bad cough, but the Dr at the ER was able to give her an inhailer and some meds to help. We are still a little comfounded at what is at the root of it, but I feel pretty certain it's allergies. Welcome to spring in Houston!
Anyway, it all turned out ok and we even went to have an ice cream after we dropped her new 'scripts off at the 24 hour pharmacy. This morning we went to Mother's Day Brunch and Gram had 2 mimosas, so I'd say she is feeling better. Pics later...
