If you can't see them clearly, the candles on the cake say "THIRTY-ISH." Brilliant!Tonight our two families are going out to dinner. We are hoping the rain will hold off and we can eat in the garden at Daily Review. If not, we have Cafe Rabelias as our backup. Either way, we are guaranteed some excellent food and amazing wine. Truitt's nap schedule is about an hour behind today, so that is perfect for a Saturday night out. As much as I love to eat outside and as great as the food at Daily Review is, I kind of hope it does rain b/c I dream of Cafe Rabelais.
Tomorrow is Mother's Day. We're going to brunch with the Gram and the Youngers, but then Ray has to head to his office (trial starts Monday). Once again, I hope for rain b/c it'll be a great excuse for me to head to Nordstrom and feel sorry for myself. Ha!
EDIT: I have to add an edit here about poor Ginnie. For the average person, this is probably a decent picture. For Ginnie, who is the prettiest, cutest thing ever, this picture does her no justice. I kinda feel bad even having it up... so, I'll be posting a random cute pic of Ginnie and Sarah in the near future. Hopefully, that'll bring some good karma back my way.
