That's what toddlers are. Case in point: Friday Playgroup at our house. I got Truitt a water table and the insanity ensued!
The amazing thing was all these boys did the same things, independent of each other. They all a) put some form or another of food in to the muddy water like it was dip and ate it, and b) found a vessel of indiscriminate size or shape, filled it with muddy water and drank it like it was the nectar of the Gods [when we all know that bubbles and is what the mommies were drinking].

By the end of playgroup, they were soaked, filthy and half dressed. It was straight up Lord of the Flies.
